Blast Miner
Blast Miner is a physics-based puzzle game that dances the line between Tetris and an atomic blast of its own design. The game offers multiple difficulty levels with many puzzles and a level editor for even more explosive fun.
Blasting is the act of exploding a mixture of explosives inside a hole or bore. The explosives create a high-pressure zone within the bore, resulting in fractures in the rock that break apart into fragments. Blasting is also used to clear and excavate land for construction, mining and quarrying activities. Blasting involves preparing and executing a plan of action, monitoring the blast and the aftermath, and ensuring the blast meets the required parameters.
The O-Pitblast application software is a complete suite of tools for planning, measuring, designing and evaluating all phases of the blast cycle (topographic data import, drilling, loading, timing). It can be used to predict vibrations and fragmentation results and control the outcome by selecting a suitable firing sequence for the specific site conditions.
Drill and blast is the world’s most common method of excavation for mineral resources. It is a highly flexible mining technique that can be applied in a variety of settings where traditional underground mining methods cannot. These include sites that are close to public roads, urban encroachment, water and gas pipelines, wildlife and environmental challenges, or where utilities are above-ground or below ground. Continuous surface mining equipment, like the Vermeer T1255III Terrain Leveler SEM, can be used in conjunction with drill and blast on these sites.
